Universal 1.1
Universal 1.1 is the first free-flying (EN B) paraglider that can be converted by its user into a full-blood paramotor canopy (conforming to the DGAC standard). It is an excellent recreational wing, offering exceptional comfort in uneasy thermals thanks to the moderate reflex traits built into the design.
After activating the trimmers and installing the ALC+, Universal 1.1 becomes a fully reflex wing with good economy, suitable for recreational and cross-country flights, using thermals, and learning to fly with the engine. This refreshed version features improved risers and a redesigned color scheme in the Four Elements palette. Dominico fabric has been replaced with Porcher, and line colors have been updated according to PMA standards. The risers’ tooling has been modernized for a simpler, more transparent, and convenient structure. Basic wing parameters remain unchanged.
Target Group:
Universal 1.1 is designed for beginner and recreational pilots who fly:
Exclusively free, benefiting from moderate reflex ability
Mostly free, sometimes with paramotor
Both free and paramotor
Mostly with paramotor, sometimes free
Exclusively paramotor, appreciating better economy, easier launch, and improved handling compared to standard paramotor wings (like Synthesis2)
Important for Instructors:
Universal 1.1 is perfect for initial PPG training.
Paramotor Set:
The wing comes with factory-installed trimmers, initially disabled and secured with a plastic buckle in a neoprene sock. Trimmers can be activated (half or full) and TST toggles installed as pilot skills progress or per instructor judgment.
Certification:
EN and LTF certificates are valid only when trimmers are closed and locked with the clip toward the trimmer buckle.
When trimmers are unlocked, making adjustments possible, the canopy has a ULM (DGAC) flight attest in all available sizes.
Speed System:
Size 34 is not equipped with a speed system; this size is intended for trike use.
Frequently Asked Questions:
The Universal is delivered as a free-flying (PG) wing but can be converted to a full reflex paramotor wing using the ALC+ set.
Each wing includes a paramotor-set (ALC+ lines and TST toggles) for conversion.
Universal is not an “all-in-one” canopy; it functions either as a classic free-flying wing or a reflex paramotor wing after adjustment.
Standard package includes: DuraLight backpack, FastBag, transport bag with compression strap, Easy Catch speedbar (not in size 34), pouch with documents and repair kit, wind direction indicator, and small gadgets.

Upper range is for experienced pilots seeking dynamic flight and higher speed. Wing behavior changes with load; higher skill and concentration required.
Summary:
Universal 1.1 is ideal for beginner to recreational pilots, offering easy take-off, great maneuverability, lower power requirement, and a convertible design for both free-flying and paramotor use.
